A rare, family-heirloom chili brought to the U.S. from Vietnam in the early 2000s by the Wilson family. Very spicy, with an estimated heat level of 300,000 to 500,000 SHU. The peppers are small and grow upright (pointing toward the sun). They start out black and slowly turn bright red at their hottest and sweetest at peak ripeness. Source from Truelove seeds, who has partnered with the Wilson family to continue this line. The original plant grown by the Wilson family has reportedly lived for over 20 years through overwintering. Consider seed sharing!
