Red Welsh Onions

A bunching onion with round hollow leaves, a dark red stalk, and slight bulb formation.   Stronger flavor than white bunching onions.  Plants can grow up to 2 feet and 1 inch in diameter—harvest young to use like scallions and later to use like leeks.  They can form clumps up to a foot across.  Full sun to part shade.  Hardy, perennial, becomes established into the garden. China or Siberia origin.
