Besobela (Ethiopian) Basil

A holy basil (tulsi) used in culinary rubs and marinades of many Ethiopian and Eritrean food preparations (Berebere, Kibe, Shiro, etc.).  There, it is sun-dried and ground for cooking.  60 – 70 days.  Purple flowers.
