A small, bitter, pumpkin-shaped eggplant (aka Garden Egg) traditionally prized by the Karen community of Burma. Harvested green and used in curries, and medicinally for fevers and malaria. Plants are 4-5 feet tall and need full sun. Pick when two inches wide and green, and often to maintain productivity.
