Perennial herb in the Apiaceae family (includes carrots, celery, cilantro, dill, fennel and parsley). Closest family member in appearance and taste is celery. The leaves are used as an herb, the roots as a vegetable and the seeds as a spice. Hardy, growing to 7 feet tall, easy to maintain. Dies back to the ground and goes dormant during winters. Quick growth in spring.
