Aroma and taste similar to cilantro, but dries well maintaining its taste and color. Blade-like leaves ½ – ¾ inch wide and up to 4 inches long. Biennial herb indigenous to the American tropics and West Indies. Does best in well-irrigated shaded conditions which promotes larger and greener leaves. Tends to bolt under hot, sunny conditions.
