This striking African eggplant is brought to us from Truelove seeds via Janine Farm in VT.   Productive in shorter growing seasons (Google Janine Ndagijimana:  she grows thousands of pounds in VT for shipment to African markets throughout the U.S.), this oblong, white garden egg, is traditionally prepared with veggies, fish and beans.  Plants reach 4 – 5 feet.  Pick fruit when 3″ long and white (green is unripe, white ripe, orange to save seeds).  Plant well after danger of frost.  Full sun with staking.  60 days.
